Material Care

Lamps produced with 3D printing technology utilize PLA, a plant-based thermoplastic material sourced from agriculture like sugarcane or beet. This substance can handle up to 70 degrees Celsius; hence, it must NEVER come into contact with high-heat situations such as:

  • Incandescent lights (they are clearly labeled as ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH LED BULBS)
  • The insides of vehicles during summer or when parked in direct sunlight - Exposure to direct solar rays
  • Any additional heat-emitting elements
  • Only LED SPOTLIGHTS should be used, The suitable LED bulb wattage ranges from 5 to 12 watts contingent upon its application, from mood lighting or as an ambient light source to more focused lighting for reading or working.

Cleaning should be carried out using a brush with delicate bristles, following the design grooves on the lamp's surface, or by employing a vacuum cleaner that has a brush nozzle. The lamp material is water-tolerant and may be cleansed with plain white soap, simplifying the removal of any kind of marks on it.

The timber employed in our lamps is robust and sourced from the environment, finished with vinyl adhesive sealant and hydro lacquer for extra protection. It is imperative to promptly dry the wood to bypass any possible distortion or blemishes from liquid contact.

The LampiedHome lamps are constructed for endurance and a prolonged lifespan due to the superior quality of materials and parts used in their composition. However, it is still important to position them in a place where they won't be easily knocked or dropped, as this type of mishap might lead to damage (it is to be noted that the warranty on material faults does NOT cover damage from impacts and is effective for 30 days post-purchase).
